's House Croquet
The lordship and land of croquet is a fee depending on the feudal court of Fontaine l'Eveque. Its head was the House of Croquet (Kroket) located Boulouffe Street in the old avenue bordering the meadow and the Swan Pond Park Feluy castle. Miss
Verse, in his Annals historical Feluy (p. 14) says that the manor belonged to the Croquet Goswin Feluy III in 1185 and it passed by exchange to his step-son of Drogo Arquennes. We could not find any document about this change. The first mention of
Croquet dates back to 1411, the date when it quotes the aldermen of Croquet headed by Henry de la Colle, mayeur; Dantoing Jacquemart, Godefroid pain Sart Noullart of Warde and Pierrart cock as aldermen.
October 4, 1438, Estiennemont Lievenars "latence Feluy in the House dou Croket remonstrance that he took to censse Melkior Darken, double the said house Kroket.
He made an inventory of property owned by Melchior, namely cows, mares, foals, harness beasts, and all furniture, pewter dishes, etc.., He shall deliver at the end of the lease.
In 1465, Land and Lordship of Croquet are already reprises dans les biens du seigneur de Feluy, elles le resteront jusqu’à la période française.

Au début du XVIe siècle, la famille Hanicq commence à acheter la plupart des biens de main-ferme de la seigneurie du Kroket.

In 1590, the widow and heirs Hanicq said Anthony Creed must at Christmas two floors for rent near warressaix Croquet Anthony said that the father uses to take over a mortgage.
In 1696, it cites "the heirs of Anthony Hanicq has eulx from Jenne said Poullet a curtilage lying in Croquet. "
In 1599, the widow of Eustace said Hennault Tempronneur is an annuity to the lordship of Croquet for bonnier of land that was to John and Lembourcg Pierart Prince.
In 1548, the lordship of croquet was set by Charles de Arrente Rubempre, lord of the Sure Feluy to Vespasian told Jacquemont, bailiff and collector of Familleureux Feluy.
The Lordship had high, medium and low justice, country house with garden, the supposed Noyelles bonnieis and 216 land and grassland, and it was under the Lordship of Fontaine l'Eveque.

The Seventeenth Century reveals many annuities by Anthony Hanicq said Creed on property located at Croquet. At that time the house belongs to the family Croquet Lallemand, first, Georges Lallemand, master of camp, the governor of Conde, the husband of Mary Mondaca. Then there is their son George Lallemand, lord of Rousselaere (West-Flanders), de la Motte (Nivelles) and Bouillon (Baulers). He married Alexandrine Sckokaert at Nivelles in 1655. This couple had several children:
Jean, who married Jane Lerner Feluy on 8-11-1666
Anne, born in the Baulers 23-4-1658, died Feluy 20-7-1715n wife Duhon.
Marie-Joseph, who died on 20-3-1698 Feluy
Ferdinand, husband of Mary Tacquenier.
A text from 1721 describes the house of croquet:
"... country house and gardens filled with fruit trees, grove of elms lined star and white wood, supposed to house with barns, stables, stables and with other buildings, 28 bonniers as prairie land that val. ... 1,000 pounds annually.
Map figurative Feluy in 1758 tells us that the house and supposed to belong to the Croquet Sr Dehoux, step-son of Mr. Lallemand. This plan been drawn by the surveyor Fonson at trial Feluy between the lord and the owner of Croquet.

passed to the lawyer Charles Halbrecq residing in Mons. The cadastral plan made in 1830 attests.
the mid-nineteenth century home of Croquet is a brewery.
Brasserie Saint-Antoine Joseph
is Felix who created this brewery in the cadastral parcel 661A.
He was born on 29 Feluy Pluviôse 8 (18-2-1800). He married Isabelle Rombaut Courcelles with whom he had three children.
Their son Julius worked as a brewer in the family business. In
1881, Martin praised the brewery Monnoyer
The brewery was later bought by Leon Lechien, brewer Those born on 23-8-1842, and his wife Justine Dewattines, born in the Molembaix 20-2-1845.
The brewery was then called "Brasserie Saint-Joseph," they exploited it until 1906. Leon died Lechien Feluy September 4, 1913.

Since 1980 until 1994, Mr. Scott took over.

The "Manoir du Capitaine
The Farm was purchased by Mr. Christophe Vandestraete, owner of the farm of Captain, to create an apart-hotel luxury. He called it "Manoir du Capitaine" in reference to his other property.
The hotel has 30 rooms, it has created large luxury suites. Each suite has been a development different in respect of the authenticity of the building: walls of oak, cherry wood furniture and oak paneling, unique combinations of colors and even a canopy bed in some suites, separate bedrooms, bathrooms modern, TV lounge, dining areas and fully equipped kitchens.
brewery adjoining the hotel was restored in the original condition of the building: the bare brick interior walls were cleaned, as well as arches, magnificent, supported by pilasters of cut stone. Large windows offer a beautiful overlooking a picturesque courtyard.
