The Cabrerolles Castle is a fortress of the twelfth century, partly dismantled during the religious wars.

History.

Restoration.
Association for the Protection of the heritage of the town and municipality of Cabrerolles set up a project to restore the site in 1990.
* In 1993, a first campaign can reinforce and protect the chapel by a linking device, installing slate sewer, a temporary seal and various occasions.
* In 1995, a second campaign aims to partially restore the steeple and make repairs to the entrance bay.
* A third campaign supported by the community of common Faugères for restoration of the vault and the covering of the building.
Concurrently, accessibility and perception of the site benefit from improvements. A further phase of work is proposed for the safeguarding and restoration of the enclosure, with construction of a gazebo, on the west tower repairs and installation of railings.
